SEAC does almost all of its concrete work in what we call campaigns or working groups. Most of these groups are working on one a project or campaign that deals with a specific topic. We currently have four of these campaigns/working groups. They are:
- Big SEAC: all of our campaigns get together on Mondays at 8:30 (Blair second floor). If you are new to SEAC, we’d love to see you!
- The Recycling Campaign is working on managing our recycling programs on campus so that they can sustain themselves. They also help with volunteer work needed to maintain these programs. Recycling meets on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 in the SEAC office.
- Energy Justice meets on Sundays from 7 to 8 in the SEAC office. Currently they are interested in divesting the school from fossil fuel industries and spreading information about energy policy issues.
- The Gardens Campaign works to maintain the Campus Gardens and promote sustainable food on campus. They meet from 3 – 5 in the Campus Gardens (behind the Commons dining center AKA the Caf) on Sundays and Thursdays from 7 to 8 in the SEAC Office.
- Take Back the Tap
- Food Justice
The SEAC office is located next to the ID Office in the Campus Center. Also, there are signs.
Please join us for one of these meetings! We would love your help.
